Each skull has inner hooks to fit to most elastic bands, and comes with one bone pin and one moon pin. You can use the hooks to loop an elastic through as your primary holder (and add pins separately), or use only the pins to hold the skull in place. These are not designed to hold all of your hair, but to accent your current style. I have, however, seen some folks manage to fit all their hair in these!

🌙 MATERIALS
Each piece was sculpted in 3d by myself, then printed on a 3d resin printer. Resin gems are cast by me, and finishing and painting is done by myself as well.

Everything has been printed in a strong resin to allow for some flex, but enough force can still break them. Please be gentle.

🌙 HOW TO USE

✨ WITHOUT PINS: Hook your elastic to the inner hooks. It's easiest if you hook the middle one, and then pull the outside of your elastic in the opposite direction to hook the other way. You can put the skull on the elastic prior to putting in your hair (my recommended method), or put it on after the fact.

✨ WITH PINS: You can supplement your hairstyle with any pre-styling and add the pin on at the end as a decoration, or you can use the skull and pins to hold your hair in place. How much hair will fit depends on your hair type, and the chosen skull. Place the skull over your hair, then push the pin in through the top hole (cheekbone) towards your scalp. Then, using a "scooping" motion, push the pin through your hair and up through the opposite eye socket of the skull. Secure the other side in the same fashion. You can also use only one pin in a sideways configuration, straight across the cheekbones or the eye sockets. PLEASE NOTE: Taller skulls such as the Wolf or Deer are more difficult to use the X configuration with, so you may want to go straight across.

.....: HAIR TYPE RECOMMENDATIONS: For finer hair, a Small size may be best, while the Large size is best for thicker hair.

✨ How to use your skull fascinator ✨

How to use with pins

  • Style your hair first if you like (especially recommended for thick hair.)
  • Place the skull over the intersection of hair.
  • Slide the pin in one side on the top, "scoop" hair underneath, and then push it out the other side eye. (You can also go straight across for a single pin use.)
  • Repeat with the second pin if you are using both. They should end in an X shape.

How to use with ponytail hooks

  • Flip so the underside is facing up.
  • Loop a hair elastic down through the middle hook first.
  • Loop up through the outer hooks.
  • Add the elastic to your hair as you normally would. (You can also hook the skull onto an elastic that is already placed, but you may need assistance for this.)
